A Culinary Adventure in Asian Street Food Delights
By Seema Dhawan
As avid lovers of Asian cuisine, I along with my nephew Aarsh chose Ping’s Bia Hoi in Gurgaon for our Saturday Brunch . Nestled in the quieter side of One Horizon, this vibrant Asian street food eatery and cocktail & sake bar promised a dynamic dining experience, and it certainly delivered.
Upon arrival, we were greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere. The decor, while not unique, was comfortable and the staff’s friendliness made us feel right at home. We started our evening with some refreshing mocktails – a perfect prelude to our culinary journey.
Our meal began with a raw mango salad, which was a burst of tangy freshness that whetted our appetites. Next, we enjoyed chili garlic noodles and honey chili potatoes, both of which were flavorful and perfectly spiced. The stir-fried Chinese greens provided a delightful balance with their crisp texture and savory taste.
Despite being quite full, we couldn’t resist trying the desserts. We indulged in sticky rice with mango, which was a delightful combination of sweet and creamy. The mango ice cream was rich and refreshing, while the coconut jaggery ice cream offered a unique, slightly caramelized flavor that was simply heavenly.
Throughout our meal, the service was impeccable. Each dish arrived promptly, allowing us to savor every bite at a leisurely pace. The ambiance was vibrant yet relaxed, making it an ideal spot for both casual dining and special occasions. I would specially like to mention the name of Sheetal for being so hospitable.
Ping’s Bia Hoi truly brought the flavors of Asian street food to life, all while providing a modern and energetic setting. Our experience was memorable, filled with delicious food, refreshing drinks, and warm hospitality. It’s a place we’ll definitely return to, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic and enjoyable Asian dining experience in Gurgaon.
