The monsoon brings a respite from the scorching heat. One cannot ignore the intoxicating fragrance of rain, the lush green freshly bathed trees and the coolness of the breeze. However, like every other season, it comes with its share of skin problems. It brings along skin woes like open pores, boils, pustules, oily skin and prickly heat.  It is important to change the skin regime with the change in season. With these tips let you skin glow this monsoon season.

Cleansing

The first step that lets the skin breathes well and prepares the skin for the following steps. It assists in mechanically removing the outermost layer of dead skin cells. It also removes bacteria, viruses, dirt and pollutants.

Exfoliating

Exfoliation removes dead skin and helps unclog pores. It also helps in growth of new skin cells giving you a glowing skin. Make sure you exfoliate for new this will help the skin to absorb the moistruring products better and will make them more effective. In short, a regular exfoliating routine will leave your skin looking fresh and healthy.

Toning

This process is very significant as removes the leftover dirt from the skin. Toners are effective at balancing the skin’s pH level. Toning helps to calm and balance the skin and prepare it for your next important step of moisturizing.

Moisturising

The basic function of moisturizers is to help treat your skin when it’s dry and prevent it from drying out again. Moisturizers do this by holding water in the outermost layer of the skin. Moisturising process keeps your skin hydrated and soft.

Serums are water based treatments which contain a much higher concentration of active ingredients and nutrients such as Vitamin C, E and K. The molecules in serums are smaller than those in a moisturizer, giving them the ability to penetrate through the pores and deep beneath the skins epidermis absorbing all those good ingredients and nutrients deep within the skins layers, where it is needed most. Serums work on the immunity of the skin and give a glowing effect.
