Roma Agarwal’s Label ‘Romaa’ unveiled the elaborate “Jharoka” collection inspired by Awadh architecture, but the creations exuded a hint of rebellious authentic and unpredictable vibes.

Chikankari and Mukaish work that was seen centuries ago to centre stage in its modern avatar, with the zardosi embroidery further adding to the dazzle of the line.

Nargis Fakhri in a magenta Kalidar floor-length kurta with lavish embroidery on the hemline teamed with matching palazzos and heavily embellished dupatta.

Titled “Galaxies 2022” line was modern, minimal with earthy aesthetics but rooted in the Indian ethos.

The traditional spiral printing art ,Surface ornamentation,. Detailed patchwork was with the aid of leftover fabrics that were embellished with thread and pipe work were the highlights
Sejal included metal detailing, Kat-Dana sequins, crystal beads and then completed the look with beadwork to add a subtle sheen.
Classic traditional silhouettes given an innovative creative push by adding structured peplums as well as well-tailored jackets, fluid pants, contemporary lehengas, jumpsuits and draped sculpted dresses.

Crêpe; gajji silk, pure satin, crêpe georgette, Mashru silk, mulmul and organza played a perfect fashion medley.
Color Canvas
A symphony of hues with crème, off white, black, cobalt blue, maroon and red creating a vibrant shade card.

Divya Khosla Kumar in khaki, embroidered, panelled lehenga, ornate choli and heavily embellished poncho.
Sejal Kamdar-“The collection was inspired by the celestial shapes in the universe, and we have tried to amalgamate modernism and minimalist aesthetics into the alluring culture of India. “
VARUN CHAKKILAM
Titled “Recherché”, the collection offered a wide spectrum of structured lehengas and stylishly crafted cholis that were draped in luxurious layers of festive dupattas. Men’s wear was restricted to white for Sherwanis and short jacket with draped kurta for added appeal.
Varun Chakkilam was inspired by the amazing beauty and geometry in the valley of flowers, which prompted him to present a collection that evoked touches of immense drapery and craftsmanship.

A grand amalgamation of summer tones like buff beige, lilac, twilight blue and ombré
Key Features
Kat Dana work ,glass beaded ornamentation, liner embroidery and the geometry of swaying florals were the highlights

Kangana Ranaut in a pale, lilac trio of lehenga, choli and dupatta to end the show.
Varun Chakkilam
“My collection is a conglomeration of various summer shades including buff beige, lilacs and twilight blue. And we have tried to build on the contemporary essence of the label with Katdana work and glass bead decoration. I was inspired by the Valley of Flowers.”
