Abu Jani & Sandeep Khosla said, “We have a long and very special relationship with CPAA. It’s wonderful to be working together again after a three-year gap. Their work to empower and heal people and families affected by Cancer is an absolute labour of love and relentless commitment to the community.
We are absolutely delighted to showcase our labels Asal and Mard at this event. Fashion that comes straight from our hearts. Please join us and support their incredible work with generosity. Cancer can and must be beaten.”
Mr Y K Sapru, Founder Chairman, CPAA, said, “Cancer is one of the leading diseases in India and the number of people who develop cancer continues to grow every year. The cost of treatment is very expensive. At CPAA we believe that all patients, whether they have money or not, should be deprived of a chance to fight the disease with the best treatments available. However, patients with modest means and underprivileged backgrounds find it very difficult to pay for this treatment and so we at CPAA try to step in. We have looked after over hundreds of thousands of people and positively impacted their lives. This show – #Caringwithstyle, over the past 15 years, has helped us to raise significant fund and awareness for our cause.”
CPAA has supported over 10 Lakh cancer patients since its inception in 1969. The NGO goes beyond malignancy and treatment of cancer on the medical front and helps individuals cope with the economic, social and psychological shadows the disease may cast. Their holistic approach towards treatment of cancer is termed as ‘Total Management of Cancer’. With five decades of experience in cancer management, CPAA now mentors other health care organisations across India.
Pidilite Spokesperson, said “Pidilite has been partnering with CPAA for over 15 years to raise funds and awareness about cancer. 15 years ago we started with this show to both raise awareness and assist CPAA to raise funds for the noble cause they support. This initiative is part of Pidilite’s commitment to support children suffering from blood cancer. The show was also supported by Club Mahindra and International Gemological Institute. This invite only fundraiser had a spectacular turnout of over 5000 elite guests and celebrities.”
ICA Pidilite also showcased three pieces which it has bought and the proceeds of which were donated to CPAA by the three Architects along with Mr. Sanjay Puri.
