Delhi buzzed with excitement as Sonu Sood and Yo Yo Honey Singh took over the capital for the launch of their much-anticipated track, “Hitman,” from the upcoming action film Fateh. The energy was palpable at PVR Plaza, Connaught Place, where the two stars transformed the venue into an unforgettable dance party, their presence sparking an uproar of excitement as the beats of “Hitman” filled the air.

A Grand Entrance, A City in Frenzy

Sonu and Honey arrived like royalty, instantly captivating the crowd with their charisma. Fans, influencers, and media gathered to witness the powerful chemistry between the duo. They didn’t just perform; they engaged, interacted, and made the night a full-fledged celebration, creating lasting memories for everyone.

“Hitman” – The New Party Anthem

“Hitman” quickly ascended the charts, becoming the anthem for New Year’s celebrations. “This is the ultimate party anthem,” Sonu Sood remarked. “Delhi’s energy is unparalleled, and Honey and I are thrilled to bring ‘Hitman’ to the city. We wanted to create a track that the people of Delhi could truly own, and seeing them celebrate with us was beyond amazing.”

Honey Singh’s Gratitude and Energy

Honey Singh expressed his heartfelt thanks for the song’s immediate success. “I’m so thankful to the fans for making ‘Hitman’ an instant hit. Celebrating with the people of Delhi was the perfect way to ring in the new year!” He also pointed out that the track’s energy was just what 2024 needed to begin with a bang.

Fateh: A Story of Resilience and Cybercrime

Produced by Shakti Sagar Productions and Zee Studios, Fateh is set for release on January 10, 2025. Directed by Sonu Sood, the film tells the gripping story of courage and the fight against cybercrime, starring Sonu alongside Jacqueline Fernandez, Vijay Raaz, and Naseeruddin Shah. With its powerful rhythm and Punjabi flair, “Hitman” is setting the tone for Fateh to become the action hit of the year.

The Music That Powers Fateh

“Hitman” is the perfect synergy of Sonu’s intense presence and Honey’s signature beats. The song’s composition, paired with Leo Grewal’s lyrics and Bosco Martis’ choreography, delivers the ideal soundtrack for the action-packed film. “Honey’s beats gave Fateh the edge it needed,” Sonu reflected. “This song is pure intensity, melody, and Punjabi pride.”

Sonu’s Roots in Delhi

Addressing the media, Sonu reflected on his journey, starting in Delhi, specifically Connaught Place, where his first portfolio shoot took place. “When two Punjabis collaborate, Fateh happens,” he said with a grin. Recalling his early days in the industry, Sonu added, “I was just a successful music director in Punjab. Bhaji (Sonu) told me Bollywood would definitely happen, but I was doubtful.” He also shared how Sonu was sure that Bollywood would come to Honey, and sure enough, it did. “He is a true visionary, a brother who is always there to help everyone in need,” Sonu added.

The Real Story Behind Fateh

Sonu went on to explain the origins of Fateh, which was inspired by real incidents, particularly his work helping victims of cyber fraud. “When I started writing the story, it took me around one and a half years to prep, and another one and a half to two years to shoot,” he shared. “I’ve dedicated the last three years to this project, aiming for action, sound design, and editing that are of international standards. Now, I just want Fateh to succeed.”

Honey Singh’s Vision for the Future

Honey Singh spoke candidly about the challenges faced by artists and the limitations imposed on singers. “This is part of life, and they will overcome all the problems,” he said, showing resilience and optimism. He also shared his thoughts on future collaborations, particularly with AP Dhillon. “Yes, I planned a collaboration with AP Dhillon for ‘Glory,’ but it couldn’t happen,” he explained. “I don’t do online jamming. I want my artist to be with me in the studio for at least a week. We understand each other’s music, and that’s when true magic happens.”

Sonu’s Take on the Oscars

Sonu also addressed the exclusion of Laapataa Ladies from the Oscars, reinforcing his belief that the real “Oscar” is the love of the audience. “The real Oscar is the love from the audience,” he said. “What matters is making a place in their hearts.”

Honey Singh’s Positive Outlook on Life

When asked about his future plans, Honey Singh shared his optimistic outlook. “I always stay positive,” he said, speaking about his upcoming travels and ambitions. “With the blessings of everyone, I will succeed.”

A Glimpse into Honey Singh’s Personal Life

On a personal note, Honey Singh gave fans a peek into his life beyond the stage, revealing plans for a documentary. “For the first time, you will see my own life, which is just an open book. You all are my life, and you will see my personal life. Netflix shot everything,” he shared, offering fans a chance to connect with him on a deeper level.

With Fateh and “Hitman” already creating a buzz, the stage is set for an explosive start to 2025, with both Sonu and Honey looking forward to more success and unforgettable collaborations.
