Ginger Bread Cookies
INGREDIENTS:
- Unsalted Butter – 430 gm
- Sugar – 430 gm
- Liquid Glucose – 360 gm
- Milk – 180 ml
- Refine Flour – 1195 gm
- Baking Soda – 12 gm
- Cinnamon Powder – 10 gm
- Ginger Powder – 15 gm
PROCEDURE:
- Take a clean thick bottom saucepan and add sugar, butter, liquid glucose and milk and heat in a medium flame and mix it properly.
- Then measure all the dry ingredients like refine flour, baking soda, cinnamon powder and ginger powder.
- After that put it in a dough mixing bowl and add the liquid solution, mix this properly.
- Then the cookie dough is ready. Give rest for 30 min, then roll it and cut it in the desired shape.
- Bake the dough at 180 degree Celsius for 20-22 minutes.
After baking, cool it and serve.
Plum Cake
INGREDIENTS:
- Unsalted Butter – 250 gm
- Brown Sugar – 250 gm
- Eggs – 300 gm
- Caramel Or Black Jack – 12 gm
- Refine Flour – 325 gm
- Baking Powder – 4 gm
- Almond Powder – 65 gm
- Orange Juice – 100 ml
- Spices – 18 gm
- Christmas Fruit Mix – 550 gm
- Vanilla Essence – 5 ml
PROCEDURE:
- At first, take a clean bowl and add brown sugar &unsalted buttercream those properly.
- Then add egg one by one, make sure egg should be dissolved properly.
- After that add vanilla essence, caramel and orange juice one by one.
- Then add all the dry ingredients like refine flour baking powder almond powder and spices.
- At last add fruit mix, and mix it by hand.
- Then take 6 inches round paper mould and put 500gm of the mixture.
- After that bake it at 180 degree Celsius for 35 min.
- After bake cools it for 2 – 3 hour then slice it and serve.
- Garnish the cake with peeled almonds.
Plum Pudding
INGREDIENTS:
- Unsalted Butter – 225gm
- Caster Sugar -225gm
- Eggs – 5 gm
- Sponge Crumb -225gm
- Refine Flour -225gm
- Baking Powder – 5 gm
- Almond Powder – 100 gm
- Vanilla Essence -5 ml
- Spices -5 gm
- Christmas Fruit Mix – 400 gm
- Chopped Apple – 50 gm
- Rum – 50 ml
PROCEDURE:
- Take a bowl and add sugar &unsalted buttercream to it properly.
- Add egg one by one; whisk it once the eggs are dissolved properly.
- Add vanilla essence to the mixture.
- Then add all the dry ingredients – refine flour, sponge crumb, baking powder, almond powder and spices.
- After that add chopped apple and mix it properly.
- At last, add fruit mix and rum and mix it by hands.
- Then take 6 inches round ceramic bowl or silicone mould, for baking and put 500 gm of the mixture.
- After that bake it in double boiling at 160 degree Celsius for 45-50 min.
- Then cut it and serve with brandy sauce.
