Ishq Chaman: Studio Kishangarh Unveils a Timeless Journey Through Miniature Art
Curated by Art Centrix in Collaboration with Arzani by Raseel Gujral Ansal
Princess Vaishnavi Kumari of Kishangarh, in collaboration with her art atelier Studio Kishangarh, unveils Ishq Chaman – an evocative collection of miniature paintings inspired by the celebrated Kishangarh school of art. Curated by Monica Jain of Art Centrix, the exhibition opens in partnership with Arzani, an artisanal design studio by renowned architect and designer Raseel Gujral Ansal, known for celebrating Indian craftsmanship.
The collection pays homage to the timeless masterpiece Boat of Love, created during the reign of Raja Savant Singh, the founder of the Kishangarh school of art. This immersive showcase brings forth a fresh perspective on the region’s artistic legacy while preserving its delicate intricacies and emotional depth.

The exhibition was inaugurated by HH Maharaja Padmanabh Singh of Jaipur as the chief guest. The opening night featured an engaging introduction by Monica Jain, followed by an insightful conversation where HH Maharaja Brajraj Singh of Kishangarh, Raseel Gujral Ansal, and textile designer Peter D’Ascoli shared their perspectives on the historical and cultural significance of Kishangarh miniatures.
A Celebration of Heritage and Innovation
Ishq Chaman invites visitors to explore the profound emotional and artistic depth of Kishangarh miniatures. This exhibition not only highlights the atelier’s dedication to preserving India’s artistic traditions but also reinterprets these works for contemporary audiences. Through a curated walkthrough, guests will uncover the poetic interplay between painting, devotion, and the region’s architectural splendor.
Adding to the experience, Art Centrix Heritage, the newly launched vertical of Art Centrix Space, deepens the exploration of India’s rich artistic legacy. In line with this vision, the exhibition offers a guided tour to Kishangarh Fort, allowing visitors to witness the architectural grandeur that inspired these masterpieces.

Echoing the romantic spirit of Kishangarh’s art, the words of Raja Savant Singh, known poetically as Nagri Das, continue to resonate:
“I can hear it faintly, the sound of his flute; I can hear it.
Now neither house nor courtyard can contain me.
With my whole being, I long for union.”
Through Ishq Chaman, Studio Kishangarh and Art Centrix invite audiences to step into a world where art becomes an act of love, immortalizing emotions through delicate brushstrokes and poetic expression.

Complementing the exhibition is Arzani, a luxury atelier by Raseel Gujral Ansal, housed at Bikaner House. Arzani blends heritage with contemporary elegance, offering an exquisite curation of art objects, fine jewelry, and bespoke collectibles. Each creation at Arzani reflects the finesse of Indian craftsmanship, brought to life through Raseel Gujral Ansal’s distinctive design sensibility.
