Blossom Kochhar College of Creative Arts and Design (BKCCAD) Skilled 200 Students In 2019 & Opened Doors For Employability
It was celebration time at BKCCAD as more than 200 young hair, beauty and make-up professionals proudly collected their certificates from their icon Dr. Blossom Kochhar and joined the list of thousands of successful professionals who have graduated from this premium college.
The chief guest of the graduation ceremony Beryl Bernard, Co-founder and Senior Examiner of International Makeup Association (Awarding body for London School of Make-up) joined Dr. Blossom Kochhar, Founder and Chairperson of Blossom Kochhar Group of Companies in handing over the certificates.
Sharing her journey and vision behind BKCCAD, Dr Kochhar said, “ As you step out into the industry remember to use not just your technical skills but also people skills. Come back every year to attend workshops and upgrade your skills to match the latest trends. “
BKCCAD with a glorious past of 35 years is one of the leading and premium institutions for professional education in hair, beauty and make-up and amongst its alumni are renowned and celebrity artists and salon owners. BKCCAD has affiliations with many international certification bodies like CIDESCO for beauty, Pivot Point and IHB for hair and IMA for makeup.
BKCCAD was recently affiliated with the International Make-up Association (IMA), making it India’s first and only academy to receive IMA recognition where students can now earn the coveted IMA certification in India
The first batch of IMA students successfully graduated from BKCCAD at this graduation ceremony.
Speaking on the occasion Beryl Bernard said “It has been my pleasure to be the Chief Guest for the BKCCAD graduation ceremony. Although many schools and colleges had approached us, what interested me about BKCCAD is that the management understands the profession and can create make-up artists for the industry. At IMA we cover every aspect that takes to be a successful, international, makeup artist.”
Ms. Samantha Kochhar, Creative Director of BKCCAD and Deputy Chief Expert Hair WorldSkills International said, “It has been my endeavour to bring International level education for Beauty and Hair in India. We started with our first International Association with Pivot Point in 1984 and have never looked back since. IMA has 16 schools worldwide including the famous London School of Make-up and now BKCCAD. It is the very best and we are very happy to have brought it to India”
