Burgerama is the creation of 3 childhood friends- Kabir Bose, Vivek Prakash and Viraaj Badhwar and it was born out of a common passion for good food, music and travel. The three took a leap of faith- setting out to create a burger experience focusing on quality, simplicity, and craveworthy-ness! They were frustrated by having to travel out of India to get their hands on some good ol’ juicy cheeseburgers so… they decided to create their own!
With a strong focus on simple yet high-quality ingredients, the brand has received an overwhelming amount of love and appreciation. Coupled with the iconic branding, Burgerama has positioned itself as an integral part of New Delhi and Delhi NCR’s food scene. Working tirelessly to achieve consistency through training, SOP’s and quality control, the brand first expanded out of Delhi/NCR to Chandigarh at the beginning of 2022.
EXPANSION PLANS
This northward expansion was quickly followed up by the opening of outlets in the south: in Bengaluru. The first outlet opened in Whitefield in June 2022 and thanks to a massive response, the second outlet opened in Indiranagar within a month. Both outlets cater to a delivery radius of 5km from their respective locations and cover a sizable area of the city. With the mission to deliver mouth-watering food to more & more customers, the brand has plans to open another 2-3 cloud kitchens in Bengaluru aimed at winning the hearts and stomachs of as many like-minded burger lovers across the city.
Bengaluru is a city brimming with well-traveled food lovers who understand their flavours. Often referred to as the ‘Silicon Valley of India’, Burgerama wishes to provide an authentic burger experience at par if not better than the burger experiences of the Silicon Valley of America! The relative ease of opening up a business in the city, along with the support of some fiercely loyal customers were the main reasons for choosing Bengaluru as the next city to bring the Burgerama magic to.

Some of the bestsellers include classic cheeseburger in single, double or triple guise, with an option of including bacon. The burger patties can be selected according to individual preference; chicken, lamb or tenderloin. Burgerama Fries are the most ordered item from the sides section of the menu with the spicy hot wings coming in a close second. Early signs in Bengaluru show that customers have also taken a strong liking to the mock-meat cheeseburger on their menu. In the near future, the brand plans to add a few specially curated local desserts and beverages only for the Bengaluru market.
Speaking about the latest expansion plans, the founders say “ We are absolutely over the moon with the way Bangaloreans have responded to our food. We have some incredible customers who have even taken Burgerama burgers with them to Mangalore and Hubballi when visiting their relatives just so they can have a taste. This is something that really hits home for us as not too long ago we were asking our friends and family to pack burgers from duty-free outlets when they were flying into India. Our dream is to make sure authentic, crave-worthy burgers are available all across India- wherever true burgers lovers live.”
