The grand cake mixing ceremony hosted by Eros Hotel New Delhi marked the beginning of yet another festive season, bringing together hotel staff, esteemed F&B influencers, and distinguished guests. The event, held in the lush green garden of the hotel, exuded a joyful and festive atmosphere, setting the perfect mood for the upcoming celebrations.
The tables at the venue were adorned with an abundant assortment of ingredients for the cake mixing, ranging from almonds, cashew nuts, dates, apricots, raisins, orange peel, black currants, to a delightful array of spices including cinnamon powder, ginger powder, cardamom powder, and cloves.
Leading the ceremony were Executive Chef Diwas Wadhera, Ms. Rubina Sharma, and Mr. Shivankar Kodesia, Director of F&B. They, along with General Manager Mr. Davinder Juj and Ms. Rubina Sharma, performed the inaugural steps of the age-old English tradition, with all participants donning aprons and zealously pouring the soaked ingredients into large containers. This marked the official commencement of the harvesting and festive season.
Following the ceremony, the participants were treated to a delightful high tea and refreshments, perfectly complementing the flavors of the festive occasion. The event not only set the stage for the upcoming celebrations but also fostered a sense of community and togetherness, reflecting the spirit of the festive season.
