A range of elegant Chikankari pieces ( kurtas, dresses, shirts, dupattas and saris) that depicts the rich and intricate history of the Awadh. The brand narrates stories through motifs and designs that celebrate the craft of Chikankari.
The highly skilled and elaborate hand embroidery technique of creating a unique chikankari garment involves a series of processes from cutting, printing, embroidery, washing and finishing which takes approximately about one to six months depending on the garment. The textural complexity, typical of the craft of Chikankari, stems from the combination and permutation of different stitches. The craft’s vocabulary is vast and each stitch has a part to play in different compositions, deeming it extremely demanding and arduous.
