Durgesh Tyagi brings years of culinary experience to the kitchen and is the Brand Chef at Massive Restaurants Private Limited. He also heads the brands Pa Pa Ya, Bo Tai and Swan, each one phenomenal and distinct in their own right.
Born into a family of farmers, he completed his schooling from SDA Mission School Hapur and graduated from Bhopal Catering College. After completing his education, Chef Durgesh landed his first appointment with Old World Hospitality as a management trainee where he worked for 3 years at renowned brands such as Indian Accent and almost all other restaurants under the realm of Old World Hospitality. His repertoire includes experience at various different and acclaimed brands in New Delhi. He has worked with Asian Brand Shiro at the Samrat Hotel for 2 years after which he was involved with Wok Tok a Pan-Asian restaurant and the coffee shop at The Grand Hotel. After spending a year there, he spent time in renowned hotels Radisson and Hilton. Before joining Massive Restaurants, Chef Durgesh was appointed as the Head Chef at Benihana Tokyo.
His journey in the food industry has been nothing short of incredible. With a wealth of experience under his belt and undying passion and love for food, Chef Durgesh always wanted to do something different. He shares his success mantra and owes it to maintaining a positive attitude no matter the obstacles and hurdles one has to overcome in life . His passion, ability to work with a team and sincerity are his key strengths. Being committed to one’s craft always, as there is no short cut or defined route to success is what Chef Durgesh abides by, till today.
Chef Durgesh is a fervent learner constantly upgrading himself with knowledge within the culinary world. He continues to surprise his patrons with his creativity that he divulges into each menu he curates and strives to give nothing short of his best.
