Dr. Raja Radha Reddy presented “The Painting Exhibition of Contemporary Golden Krishna. The exhibition was inaugurated of Padmashri Awardee artist Krishn Kanhai and will be continued till 01st May, 2022 from 11:00 am – 8:00 pmat Nandjeet Khemka Art Gallery, Natya Tarangini, New Delhi.

On the occasion, Padma Bhushana Dr. Raja Radha Reddy said, “Shri Krishn Kanhai’s name has become familiar all over Bharat as a great, devoted painter, whenever I see his painting exhibitions. I always recollect my memory of seeing the unique paintings at Ajanta & Ellora. We are immensely happy that his paintings are being exhibited in our Natya Tarangini’s, Nandjeet Khemka Art gallery.”
On this occasion, Padmashree awardee Artist Krishn Kanhai said, “I am elated and obliged to present, 45 years of hardwork in the form of 40 rare paintings showcasing Contemporary Golden Krishna with the help of Dr. Raja and Radha Reddy.“It is the first show across the country, now being held at Nandijeet Khemka Art Gallery, New Delhi. My artworks are painted in oil paints, acrylic paints and gold Leafs work, carrying forward the essence of traditional techniques into contemporary. I shall be grateful if you could spare some of your valuable time and grace your presence at the exhibition.”
About Krishn Kanhai
Padmshri awardee, Krishn Kanhai is described as an artist with the midas touch. He is a master in contemporary, portrait as well as traditional gold painting. He has, however, not confined himself to the traditional alone but has also introduced certain significant techniques of his own that makes the canvas aesthetically appealing and spiritually rich.
In 2016, on request from the Uttar Pradesh Government, he painted Life-size portrait of 22 Chief Ministers of UP- past and present along with 19 past and present Speakers of the UP Assembly besides two life-size portraits of Mahatma Gandhi. The paintings of the father-son duo are so highly acclaimed in the art circles of India that in 2004 .
