Raju Chadha’s Dil Se Sewa

The Sikhs have been selflessly feeding the hungry since times immemorial & the community has been at the forefront of relentlessly helping people to tide over the crisis during the coronavirus lockdown and their sewa during this pandemic is a shining example of their community spirit. One such illustrious son of Punjab, well known entrepreneur, film presenter and philanthropist Raju Chadha Chairman of Wave Group presenter a unique initiative ‘Dil Se Sewa: Feeding Millions’ along with NDTV and the Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee this Sunday. This initiative saw celebrities & achievers from across varied fields motivating people to join the campaign and help to reach out to the poor and vulnerable who need to be fed. Raju Chadha known across the country & overseas for his business and philanthropic work, has been a pioneer in the field of community work and has been applauded for ushering in reforms in Sikh weddings by making them simple and low cost in the past. A special two hour show on this fund-raising initiative and the significance of the langar sewa & how it serves humanity was telecast on NDTV during prime time leading to a huge number of donations for this noble cause. Apart from Raju Chadha other notable celebrity speakers included Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, Gulzar, Vishal & Rekha Bhardwaj, Gurdas Mann, Arjun Rampal, Randeep Hooda, Gulshan Grover, Jimmy Sheirgill, Harshdeep Kaur, Jasbir Jassi, Rahul Mittra, amongst others.
