“While I was busy shooting for Pushpa 2: The Rule, director Shiv Hare approached me with the story of Pintu Ki Pappi. The concept immediately struck me as fresh and exciting. I agreed to be a part of the film, but on one condition—that my wife, Vidhi Acharya, would produce it. As we fleshed out the narrative, we realized that Shushant perfectly embodied the role of Prashant, affectionately known as ‘Pintu,’ while Jaanya brought warmth and vibrancy to the character of Prerna, lovingly called ‘Pappi.’ And that’s how we arrived at the title—Pintu Ki Pappi.”
