INIFD presents GenNext, one of the most coveted talent discovery programs today announced four up-and-coming designers as the winners who will be showcasing their collections at the Lakmé Fashion Week in partnership with FDCI set to take place from 9th to 12th March 2023in Mumbai.
Lauded as the most popular and credible platforms in the Indian fashion industry for new talent, GenNext has, over the years, established more than 250 plus designers who have become some of the most sought-after names in the country today. For its 35th edition, Hiral Jajal (Hiro), Kunaal Kyhaan (Koytoy), Anugrah Chandra (KoAi), and Rudraksh Dwivedi (Rudraksh Dwivedi) emerged as the 4 winners.
Like each season, entries were invited for the GenNext program. The shortlisted designers presented their collections to an esteemed jury comprising Harman Dhillon, Vice President, Skincare, Color Cosmetics, Hindustan Unilever; Anaita Shroff Adajania, Costume & fashion stylist and Creative Director; Sabina Chopra GenNext Mentorand Jaspreet Chandok Head of RISE Fashion & Lifestyle.
The INIFD presents GenNext program has been recognized for identifying and providing young and talented designers an opportunity to enhance their skills and take center stage in the fashion industry.
Commenting on the latest batch of winners, Harman Dhillon, Vice President, Skincare, Color Cosmetics, Hindustan Unilever said, “Since the inception of the GenNext program in 2006, Lakmé Fashion Week has been committed to providing new talent an opportunity to be mentored by our experts and a platform to showcase their work as well as interact with different stakeholders within the industry.
