A stroll through the old town:
Nestled between Frankfurt’s iconic locations- the Emperors’ Cathedral and Römer City Hall. You’ll find the “new old town”, a time-honoured location steeped in history and tradition. The beautiful New Old Town consists of three winding laneways, a number of hidden courtyards. And a picturesque plaza known as the Hühnermarkt, adorned with an old fountain honouring Frankfurt’s famous dialect poet. And one of Germany’s first democrats, Friedrich Stoltze.
Palmengarten or Frankfurt’s botanical garden is one of the most beautiful sights in the city. With over 22 hectares of tropical plants, the Palmengarten provides visitors a chance to meander through a jungle-like tropical environment.
Walk along the Museum embankment:
Frankfurt is home to over 60 museums, 13 of which are located on the Main river embankment, including the Städel Museum, the Museumsufer and the Museum of World cultures.
