International Beer Day

Simba Celebrates International Beer Day with a Toast to Innovation and Community

t’s International Beer Day! Simba, India’s leading craft beer brand, invites beer lovers to raise their glasses in honor of the brewing world’s rich heritage and innovative spirit. Established in 2016 in Chhattisgarh, Simba has made its mark as a pioneer in the Indian craft beer scene, introducing the nation to its first bottled stout.

Simba’s wide array of beers continues to win over taste buds across the country. The Simba Wit offers a fresh twist on the classic Belgian Wit style, featuring subtle hints of lemongrass and a delightful citrusy aroma. For stout aficionados, Simba Stout stands out with its smooth, light-bodied profile and rich notes of coffee, toffee, and dark chocolate. The Simba Lager, with its golden color and refined taste, epitomizes a smooth, fresh ale.

Looking ahead, Simba’s vision is clear: to expand geographically, build a vibrant brewing community, and continue innovating. The brand’s latest initiative, Brew Off, demonstrates this commitment. Set to take place at Woodside Inn in Mumbai at the end of August 2024, this competition will bring together microbreweries from across the country to showcase their creativity and brewing skills. With a cash prize of INR 3 Lakhs and the opportunity to create a limited-edition brew in collaboration with Simba, Brew Off is a celebration of brewing excellence. The winning brew will debut across Goa, offering beer enthusiasts a taste of victory.

Simba’s dedication to fostering community and honoring craft beer culture is evident in its past and future initiatives. Last year’s Uproar edition, which spanned six cities, and this year’s Brew Off, highlight Simba’s commitment to building collaborative synergies within the industry, ultimately benefiting the consumer.

On International Beer Day, Ishwaraj Singh Bhatia, COO and Co-Founder of Simba, expressed, “Cheers to beer bringing people together and creating moments of joy.” This sentiment perfectly captures Simba’s ethos and the spirit of the day.
