To new beginnings…

…it’s time to ring in the festivities to welcome Lord Ganesh into our homes! Along with the festive spirit, we bring you some traditional and indo-western attires worn by Bollywood celebrities to help you keep your fashion game on point. May the colours, silhouettes and the vibe of these gorgeous outfits make Ganesh Utsav a memorable one for you and your wardrobe!

Nine-yards of festive galore

Celebrate traditions with a hint of glam in these nine yards of elegance! If you love draping a sari for festivals, you can choose these unconventional pieces of art. Jacqueline Fernandez is seen wearing an exquisite Rose Room sari adorned with intricate embroidery and is teamed with a bralette style blouse embellished with sequins. On the other hand, giving a vintage vibe to Prints by Radhika’s silk organza sari is Shilpa Shetty Kundra, who completes the glam look with an embellished blouse featuring rose prints.

Twirl as you chant Bappa’s name

Over the years, anarkalis have been a favourite during the festivals. This year too, twirl as you praise Lord Ganesh during the puja ceremony in these stylish anarkalis with a twist.  Juhi Chawla aces the colour game in the teal green tier anarkali designed by Vvani Vats.  Kriti Sanon on the other hand, brings in some calm and serenity in this floor length white anarkali suit with intricate work. Keeping it simple, Sonakshi Sinha’s ensemble is a bouquet of festivity. The cotton muslin floral anarkali by Gulabo Jaipur when teamed with off white chikan cotton pants and a cotton doriya dupatta is the perfect look for the evening aarti (puja).

A Sharara Start to the Festivities

The sharara silhouette has every celeb’s vote this festive season. From Prachi Desai’s mint lily print sharara pants teamed with hand embroidered blouse with mirror work, embroidered printed jacket and embroidered belt designed by Sana Barreja to Aamna Sharif’s uber-chic peach kurta sharara set with floral prints created by Neha Chopra; and Aditi Rao Haydari flaunting her deep fuschia printed peplum top with sharara pants from Ridhi Mehra , each creation celebrates grace and tradition with elan.

Slay the festive look like Arjun Kapoor in this dark blue kurta teamed with a trench style shirt jacket and paired with white bottoms designed by Kunal Anil Tanna. And for the ladies, complement your partner’s look in Pink City by Sarika’s red embroidered kurta adorned by the beautiful Mouni Roy or you could layer it up like Raveena Tandon, where she looks radiant in Pratyusha Garimella’s red kurta and palazzos teamed with a three-layered cape with intricate zari, sequin and nakshi work.
