Background information:

Running innovations at Nike: Running is the heart of Nike. the company was founded on the handshake between a coach and his track athlete. Since then, it has been relentlessly focused on solving problems for runners.

Marathon & Road Racing:  The NEXT% platform is the ultimate expression of Nike’s ambition to engineer footwear with measurable performance benefit. Now with an expanded offering including a new innovation developed specifically for athletes training and competing in shorter distance road events, each of these Nike road racing models adhere to the strict guidelines of World Athletics. Highlights include the Air Zoom Alphafly Next%, ZoomX Vaporfly Next% 2 and the new ZoomX Streakfly.

Sustainability-minded design is critical to help protect where runners train, live and compete. Just this past year the Alphafly Next Nature reimagined the record-breaking technology of Nike’s pinnacle marathon shoe through the lens of sustainable design. Designers and manufacturers dug into how performance footwear could be made with recycled materials, like recycled ZoomX foam and recycled Flyknit yarn, without sacrificing performance. The outcome was the Air Zoom Alphafly Next Nature, Nike’s first elite performance shoe made with at least 50% recycled content by weight.

The Nike Run Club (NRC) App lets consumers connect with friends and other runners through experiences and challenges —in the neighbourhood or across the globe.

Air Force 1: The AF-1 started on the basketball court but quickly took over the streets, studios and runways where it thrived, adopted and embraced by the communities that would drive it legacy.

Tested by college athletes and made immortal by some of the NBA’s most fearsome big men, the Nike Air Force 1 has crossed more than the boundary of court to street in the years since its 1982 launch.

This year, as it celebrates its 40th anniversary, one thing remains consistent: The communities and people who have adopted the sneaker and made it an icon, whether artist, ballplayer, chef, designer or you-name-it, prize the Air Force 1 for its toughness and resilience. They’ve also tweaked and twisted it to fit their needs, precipitating a dynamism that has granted the Air Force 1 comfort in any environment.

Nike (M) Maternity Collection: The Nike (M) maternity collection is a five-piece essentials capsule consisting of the Nike Dri-FIT Swoosh (M) Bra, NIke Dri-FIT (M) Tank, Nike Dri-FIT (M) Pullover, Nike Dri-FIT One (M) Leggings and Nike Dri-FIT One (M) Shorts that was created by combing through pregnancy data findings with analytics from more than 150,000 comparison scans of non-pregnant women against those of pregnant women. An example of Nike’s inclusive design philosophy, Nike (M) was designed and tested for mothers, by mothers, to give her the freedom to move however she wants throughout her entire pregnancy journey.
