Designers Pankaj and Nidhi presented their latest collection, The Loop, exploring the theme of infinity through innovative fashion.
Endless Elegance: The Loop Collection
The Loop collection captivated with its sculptural and avant-garde designs, transforming the runway into a space where fashion and infinity converged. From structured smart casuals to opulent evening wear, the collection captured the essence of timelessness.
Actor Sharvari Wagh graced the runway as the showstopper, bringing the ‘Loop’ showcase to a breathtaking close.
Smart Casuals to Glamorous Evenings
The collection opened with structured jackets and wide-leg pants, progressing into more glamorous, embellished evening looks. With an emphasis on proportion and structure, garments included kimono bomber jackets, cocoon skirts, and jumpsuits with defined waistlines and sleek silhouettes.
A Journey Through Infinity
“The collection embodies contemporary sensibilities, and Sharvari was the perfect choice as the muse,” said Pankaj and Nidhi in a statement. “With Loop, we experimented with structures, adding layers and depth. Returning to Lakmé Fashion Week each year is always a highlight for us.”
Taking inspiration from the infinity loop, the collection featured a distinctive lattice-like textile that added structure and drama to each piece. Rich materials like felted wool, glazed silk organza, and Duchess Satin brought dimension and flow to the designs. The color palette ranged from deep burgundy and soft blues to bold monochrome accents, symbolizing the boundless beauty of infinity.
Sharvari Wagh as Showstopper
Bollywood star Sharvari Wagh made her showstopper debut in a luxurious kimono bomber jacket intricately embroidered with the infinity loop motif. Paired with a tuxedo yoke, a cord-style bustier top, and a flowing satin skirt, Sharvari’s ensemble captured the essence of The Loop collection.
