Party night means you need special touches that help you stand out in a crowd. It may be a new hairstyle, great accessorizing or highlights in your make-up. A new look is truly renewing. Try a change of hairstyle, like putting up your hair with fancy hair accessories or ribbons. Wearing flowers in the hair can be quite alluring. Or, leave it loose, but be sure to wash and condition – adding lustre to the hair. Or, add a touch of glamour with colour streaks, using herbal hair mascara. The effect lasts till the next shampoo. You can try fake eyelashes, or even eye lash extensions to make the lashes look longer and thicker. They really help to add that extra touch. Try using an eyelash curler for an attractive effect.
Golden foundation, with gold tinted powder would be great for night make-up. It will lend a golden glow. Also, to add that extra touch, you can use gold dust for glitter! Apply foundation on the face. Using a moist sponge spread it evenly, going outwards.
Apply blusher at night. Be subtle, so that it provides just a healthy glow. Powder blushers are easier to apply. Avoid using lip liners and just brush the lips with lipstick, going for shades of pink to rose or tawny pink. Red is still ruling the trends. However, at night, you can go for rose, coral or dark pink. A pearly shimmer, or gloss in the centre of the lips would be attractive.
For your night eye make-up, use shine or gloss. Use browns, bronze and gold. Brown eye shadow can be applied in the socket or crease of the lids, to add depth. The smoky look can be achieved by smudging the eyeliner slightly with a sponge tipped applicator. Blacks and dark browns are popular for eyeliner. White pearly shimmer may also be used to highlight under the brows. Apply mascara in two or three coats, but remember to brush the lashes after each coat dries.
Long hair is very much the trend, with cascading waves. Go for the softer look, with curls or natural waves, in the lower half of the hair. The classic ponytail is trendy. One can wear a ponytail high or low, with wisps or curls falling down…..the carefully-careless look! For the party, put the hair up with the help of hair accessories, into a casual knot, or braids. Putting the hair up can make you look sophisticated, elegant or glamorous.
