Representing the world’s leading brands in exclusive pan-India tie-ups, Plüsch has launched Poggenpohl’s latest +MODO collection that celebrates a modern take on opulence. With an architectural perspective that is told lucidly in the unmistakable design language of Spanish designer Jorge Pensi, the worktop and cabinetry are offset against one another to form an exhilarating constellation.
The worktop spans the cabinets below, appearing to float. The resulting free space becomes a stage for utensils and personal accessories. A culinary workbench and a stage for kitchen living – interplay between the worktop, the cabinets below and the open shelves, +MODO holds all possibilities in store for those who use it. +MODO’s pull-out shelving serves as an open presentation area for food, cooking utensils and personal accessories. The worktop made of Rosso Lepanto evokes associations of Roman worlds and pleasurable living. As if floating, it rests on the +MODO base cabinets in eucalyptus wood. The sophisticated interplay of colour underscores the exceptional quality of the composition.
+MODO by Poggenpohl has been an iconic design by Jorge Pensi since the early 2000s. The design of having a thick floating counter, along with the interplay of open and closed elements always takes the viewer by surprise leaving them in awe of the space.
“This is something I have personally seen on the storefront across all our showrooms. The best part is that the design can be completely customized to your liking and preference. We have executed simple kitchen designs with just one pull-out tray on the island to complete full-fledged open kitchen designs in a complete +MODO concept,” says Sukriti Sharrma, Partner at Plüsch.
About Plüsch
Studio Poggenpohl founded by Hamendra & Rati Sharma in 1998 as SIS Imports, and was rebranded by their daughter Sukriti Sharrma to Plüsch in 2015. “Plüsch” embodies new energy and a compelling promise in the domain of luxury living; be it kitchens or lifestyle products. The brand was a pioneer in bringing the best German luxury brands to India; beginning with Poggenpohl for kitchens, Gaggenau for appliances and Interluebke for wardrobes. The transition from SIS Imports to Plüsch has been steady and well-thought-out. While the parent company Sis Imports remains the same, the Plüsch brand offers the much-needed strong, iconic brand name to assemble the wide product portfolio under one.
