Global India Couture Week Season 5: A Fusion of Fashion and Innovation In Association with IFDC
The excitement was palpable as The Black Page Fashion, in association with the International Fashion Design Council (IFDC), unveiled the 5th season of Global India Couture Week (GICW) recently at The Bristol, Gurugram. The event radiated creativity, showcasing a breathtaking blend of established fashion giants and fresh, emerging talent. Each designer brought their unique flair, making it a week to remember.
Reflecting on the journey, Mr. M Satya, Managing Director of GICW, shared, “GICW was born from a desire to give undiscovered talent a platform, allowing them to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with industry icons. It’s all about creating a bridge between the rich Indian fashion landscape and international trends.” His passion for nurturing young designers was echoed by Mr. Sidharrth, Director of Operations at GICW, who added, “We’re here to fuel the growth of those just starting their journey, giving them the space and spotlight they deserve.”
