Vogue today announced the sixth annual Forces of Fashion, taking place globally across four markets for the first time ever. Kicking off the week in New York on March 22nd, the exclusive conference will provide an inside look at Vogue’s legendary fashion closet in One World Trade Center, where Kim Kardashian will join Vogue.com editor Chioma Nnadi for a conversation about shaping herself by challenging outdated notions of physical perfection, her labels—and her future. Later that evening, in London, Naomi Campbell will speak with British Vogue editor-in-chief Edward Enninful OBE.
Virtually from Mumbai Megha Kapoor, Head of Editorial Content, Vogue India, will host actor and body positivity advocate Sonam Kapoor to discuss the cultural role of Bollywood in shaping beauty standards. Kapoor will also host a virtual conversation with model Lakshmi Menon to speak about how the acceptance and appreciation of South Asian beauty came about in the fashion industry.
The conference concludes virtually from Mexico City, with Vogue Mexico and Latin America March cover star Karol G, who will join editor-in-chief Karla Martinez to discuss body expectations in the music industry and how people can feel good about their bodies in the age of social media.
