One of the most significant aspects of the festivities is that different colours are associated with each of the nine days.

 Taneira, a handcrafted textile brand from the house of Tata brings a new festive collection, Tasvi inspired by the cultural and design elements of the three Goddesses – Durga, Laxmi and Saraswati. October 17 – Grey

On the first day, the kalash is installed. The grey colour denotes arrival of new beginnings & destruction of evil. Coming from a cool colour palette, grey looks ethereal and can be styled in multiple ways to give an edgy look. October 18 – Orange

October 19 – White

October 20 – Red

Red colour symbolises passion, auspiciousness as well as anger that is required to uproot evil. October 21 – Royal Blue

On this day, wear royal blue, a colour that represents divine energy. Royal blue is bold and makes a powerful statement on its own. When teamed with contracting tones, it creates a beautiful effect. October 22 – Yellow

October 25 – Purple
