The 37th IMC Ladies’ Wing Women Entrepreneurs’ Exhibition brought a vibrant, festive spirit to Mumbai this year, lighting up the Jio World Convention Centre with a buzz of creativity and inspiration. With visitors strolling through the beautifully curated stalls, there was something special for everyone—from bespoke jewelry to stunning home décor, unique apparel, lifestyle accessories, and mouth-watering gourmet treats. What made this event truly remarkable was the spotlight it provided for over 278 talented women entrepreneurs from across India, many of whom have yet to establish a retail presence. This platform offered them a rare and invaluable opportunity to not only showcase their skills but also dream of expanding into national and international markets.
The exhibition’s allure was elevated further with the presence of Bollywood icon Raveena Tandon and the esteemed Smt. Kokilaben Ambani as special guests. They were warmly welcomed by IMC Ladies’ Wing President Jyoti Doshi, Vice President Rajyalakshmi Rao, IMC President Mr. Sanjaya Mariwala, Exhibition Chairperson Ishita Jain, Co-Chairperson Radhika Kaji, and several members of the committee, creating a moment that exuded grace and admiration.
For decades, the IMC Ladies’ Wing has championed the cause of social good, making a difference in the lives of women, youth, and children. This year’s exhibition continued that tradition by featuring NGOs that work tirelessly to uplift communities. Speaking on the occasion, President Jyoti Doshi remarked, “This exhibition is more than just a marketplace—it’s a movement for positive change. It’s about empowering women, uplifting families, and strengthening our communities. Our latest project, a Trauma Centre at Cama and Albless Hospital for women and children, will bring vital care and comfort to those who need it most.”
Exhibition Chairperson Ishita Jain added “Our vision has always been to create a space where women can bring their dreams to life. We’re proud to provide them with the visibility and opportunities they need to grow their businesses. As they take their next steps, we wish them nothing but success.”
Chief Guest Raveena Tandon shared a heartfelt reflection on her connection with the IMC Ladies’ Wing. “It’s always a joy to be here. I’ve had the privilege of being part of the IMC Ladies’ Wing journey since their very first exhibition in 1987, and I’ve seen firsthand how far they’ve come. What’s truly inspiring is their unwavering commitment to nurturing women’s entrepreneurial spirit. From homegrown ventures to thriving enterprises, it’s been wonderful to witness how this platform has helped women turn their dreams into reality.”
Tandon added, “I want to congratulate the women who have taken those bold first steps, turning small ideas into successful ventures. And a special acknowledgment to Chairperson Ishita Jain, President Jyoti Doshi, and Co-Chairperson Radhika Kaji for their tireless efforts. As I walk through the exhibition today, I encourage everyone to continue supporting and celebrating these remarkable women.”
